RESONING BEHIND PLEA TO VOTE INDEPENDANT OR TEA PARTY

THE REASONING BEHIND MY PLEA TO VOTE INDEPENDANT OR TEA PARTY IS SET IN THE IDEA THAT NEITHER OF THE TWO MAJOR POLITICAL PARTIES, DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN HAVE ANY REAL INTENTION TO DELIVER AFTER THE NOVEMBER ELECTION IS OVER.

This has been the political trend for decades. Say whatever you have to say, to whoever you have to say it. Promise whatever you have to promise to whoever you have to promise it to. Do whatever you have to do to get re-elected, and remember to play the Party line. The American people have fallen for this stunt over and over again. As soon as politicians get into office they suddenly forget everything they said. They forget everything they promised. And they forget and ignore everything that they did. They go off on their own agenda, as they have done all along, and figure they will not have to deal with their constituents for another two to four years. By then the dummies will have forgotten all the broken promises, and everything that was said and everything they did to get elected back then. But something is stirring out there this time. The politicians sense it, but they don’t quite understand it.

There is this anger, this contempt for anyone political, or politicians. The voters are blaming politicians for the recession, unemployment, the Industrial slump that we are in, the loss of their homes, and their self-worth. Voters are angry with their President because he went off on his personal agenda, ramming anything and everything through in a heated rush, without true conciliation with the American people. They feel their voice was not, and even today, is not heard. As a result they are angry at both parties. Neither of them have delivered, and for the folks back home things are not getting better, and in many cases they are getting worse!

Unemployment is at an all time high. As a result the mortgage can not be payed. When they lose the home they get very little empathetic understanding from the Republicans who act as if it’s the voters fault. One Republican Politician actually said in response to a plea by Democrats to extend unemployment benefits to thousand of unemployed workers unable to find work, and his perception that many were treating the benefits as welfare, when jobs were out there, “Tough Shit”. He said it on the House Floor, on a live feed, forgetting that his Mic was still on.

The Democrats have not done too much better. They continue to tax and spend, and have not been the least successful in getting the economy at least hobbling onto its feet. They played the party line right up to the last millisecond endorsing the Presidents Hodge Podge Medical Health Care reform Package. The presidents economic recovery attempts have not worked, and promises for public works to get people at least back on their feet are sitting stagnant, unable to pass either the House or Senate.

Wall St. is enjoying massive profits, and hoarding Government loans that were set up to stabilize a near collapse of the Stock Market. Bonuses are being handed out like candy, and the American people are in Soup Lines.

These feelings began to unfold late last year. These feelings worsened throughout the year. Nothing was accomplished by this administration, and any of the good ideas were shut down by Conservative Republicans for strictly political purposes only.

The problem is this. All politicians think about is re-election. They are not thinking about their State, their District, or most important the Constituents back home. All they feed on for two or four years is getting re-elected. These are a few of the reasons that I am calling upon voters to make their voice heard. Now is the time. Not two years from now. We do not need to wait to see what the republicans will do with their latest set of promises to America. We should not be interested in Democrat as well as Republican claims of “Oh, We get it now”, while they beg for just one more chance. If we give them that chance, they will figure as they have before, that we fell for it once again, and go about their merry way doing as they want, ignoring the demands of folks back home.

So, again, I call upon the constituents to vote. I call upon them to vote Independent or Tea Party, anything but Democrat or republican. Why? Because this could result in a split, with a non majority Congress making Democrats and Republicans come to the table and do what is good for America. They will all have to work together. There is no majority so consensus is the only route to go. I think the results will be most interesting.

The time has come for true Americans to rise up and be counted. Rise up and make their voice heard. Rise up and let their anger be displayed so that all in Congress as well as the white House know that the American people have had it up to their Eye Teeth with hollow promises and out right deception of the voting public for the sole purpose of getting re-elected to a cushy job in Washington.

That’s my point of view………….What do you think?……….I look forward to hearing from you.

Have a great night and……….GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

About THE HORTON JOURNAL A POLITICAL PERSPECTIVE

I am 62 years old. I've been blogging for several years. I am into History and Politics as well as currant events. The latter being the main issues covered on these pages. I was a Community Advocate for twenty years, and a volunteer aide in a State Representatives Office in my home state of Michigan. While I have basically ceased these activities, I still watch the world around me closely and report on it as much as I can, which I might add is often. I encourage comments on my Blogs. I only ask that we keep our opinions clean and without insults threats or intimidation. I hope you take time to read The Horton Journal, and look forward to your comments.
