Sarah Palin is opening an office in Iowa a sign that she is apparently preparing to run for President. However, many pundants as well as senior Republicans are concerned with such a possibility. This pundant sees her possible candidacy as a serious problem for Republicans who are considering the bid because she might blow all the opposition out of the water. Many stop short however, at projecting whether she could beat Obama. Based on her popularity, and the promotion machine she has built up I am afraid that she might do just that. Beat Barrack Obama. She would not beat him because of his Medical Bill, or poor performance. It would turn the 2012 election into nothing more than a popularity contest.
The factor that would be missing, and the real issue in her bid for office is her all too obvious lack of experience. She knows nothing about International affairs, or how the government works for that matter. She is not prepared for the enormity of the office. She has to be able to respond and when she does she has one shot. In my opinion Sarah Palin is not the choice for President.
She is more of the same. Obama has done various things throughout his tenure that point to inexperience. Now however, he is starting to show more experience and wisdom in his decision-making. That was not the case a few short months ago. He was arrogant, and tendended not to listen to good, experienced advisors. He surrounded himself by a circle of friends who had their own visions and lacks in experience necessary to run the country. He has learned that friendship stops at the front door of the White House.
Palin on the other hand is nothing more than a pop star. There are Conservatives out there who want one thing, and one thing only. They want Barrack Obama out of office. If it means sarah is elected President then so be it. We can take care of her. After all it was the Political Right that made her so popular, she will have no choice but to lean on them if she were elected President. In short she would be nothing more than a political puppet. Or would she.
Palin has a tendency to off half cocked in a heated moment. It is then that she says something off the cuff that points directly to her inexperience. Her first term in office would be nothing more than a disaster, one after another.
However, there are other candidates more serious about this run. They are sincere when they express their concern about a second Obama term. They have experience, and understand the world situation.
Campaign 2012 is not, and should not, be a popularity contest. It is about the future of this country. It is about security. It is about integrity, it is about our ability to compete. It is about keeping peace in a troubled world. We can not come off as a war mongering hot gunned ready to shoot at the drop of a hat nation if anyone dare cross or disagree with us. We can not go Rouge!
That’s where I stand on the issue. Hope to hear your view.
Have a great day and as usual……….. God Bless America!!!
