It’s been ten long years since the World Trade Center fell to the ground killing thousands of WTC employees. Each of them had family, and friends who up to this day mourned their death, and waited for justice. Justice that it seems, was never going to come.

On Sunday after noon however, an elite U.S. Navy Seal team dropped in to a Pakistani compound, a mere 90 miles from their capital, and just a thousand yards from the Pakistani military academy.  They were there to pay Bin Laden a very special visit. They were prepared to take him prisoner but Bin-Laden grabbed a female resident of the compound, thought to be his wife, and used her as a shield. At the same time firing shots at the U.S. invaders. Nothing it seems suited them more because a moment later the leader of al-Qaeda was dead from two well placed bullets to the head.  Osama Bin-Laden is dead!

Withen forty minutes the firefight was over, and the helicopters were gone. They took Bin-Ladens body with them. Pictures were taken, DNA samples collected and whatever else they had to conduct to assure they had gotten their man, was accomplished. Then the Seals took Bin-Laden to an ocean locale where no one was in site. Cleaned his body, wrapped him in a sheet, conducted an Muslim funeral rite, and dumped in the ocean. That was it.

Rumors that something was amis surfaced in Washington at about 9:45 pm when the press was notified that the President was going to make a Statement at 10:30 pm regarding foreign Policy. That was enough of course to set off alarm Bells all over D.C. because no one in their right mind is going to make a Foreign Policy Statement at that time of the night. It was hot, and the press poured into the White House to watch the Presidents address. At 10:30 President Obama announced that U.S. Naval Seal Forces had killed Osama Bin-Laden.

Of course within hours the rumor mills of conspiracy and fakery were churned up. It was all a hoax, just to make the President look good etc; But the facts slowly came out that it was in fact true. The President had already told Former President George Bush, as well as former Vice President Dick Chaney, and former President Bill Clinton.

While President Obama clarified that this action was taken by his direction, it was clear that it was a military operation and it went off with only one hitch. A helicopter hovering over the compound during the raid began to stall and was as a result forced to land. The Seals who might not have a way out of the Bin-Laden compound however, decided to move forward, and it all ended with a final stand-off with Bin-Laden.  He was shot twice rapid fire in the left side of the head. However, it all worked out, and the Seals got out of there with the corpse and were on their way back to the ship, before Palestinian forces could get to the site, where they had detected the American infiltration.

Of course they were not notified, after all they still had some explaining to do as to just how Bin-Laden could be hiding just a thousand yards from a Pakistani military intstilation?

Of course there were the usual snide comments by Rush Leimbaugh who had to put his negative spin on Obama’s role in all of this. But I don’t think that went over too well, because Glenn Beck as well as Sean Hanady sort of stayed away from the idea of Presidential condemnation. After all he is the president, and he did give the final order, he had to give the green light.

In the end this President once again showed all America, and the world, for that matter, that he is the President of The United States. He showed leadership, and commitment. He did not hesitate or falter.  He stepped up to the plate and delivered the final blow to Osama Bin-Laden.

The president should be complimented for his guts and commitment on this one. He did his job, and did it well. All America is proud.  As for those seals who did their job, and risked their lives to bring final justice to an evil man, they too are congratulated.

Then of course there are those who lost friends and loved ones on 9-11.  For them another chapter in their night mare scenario is over. But their loss will never be healed. However, they can rest a little easier tonight knowing that justice had finally been administered.

I hope to write more about all this in a day or so, but first, like others I want to get all the facts. One fact however is sure,

Osama Bin-Laden is DEAD !!

God Bless America…..God Bless our troops…..and God Bless that Special Navy Seal team who did their job and made it home safely. and of course God Bless The president of The United States.

Have a Good night America.
