SOME LIKE IT HOT!…….2012 CAMPAIGN PROMISES TO BE JUST THAT!

Some people like it hot. That means that for the Political Pundant, 2012 is going to be an interesting campaign year.  For those of us who write and breathe politics it’s what makes our blood boil, and we come alive.  The Summer is over, the cool weather from the North is starting to invade, and already readership is increasing as Folks realize that the real world is upon them.

President Obama is in trouble, and the Republicans taste blood. However, just because Mr. Obama is bouncing down a rutty road does not mean that the Republicans have this one in the bag.  They have this iron weight around their neck. They can’t shake the blasted thing.  As a matter of fact, the Tea Party is actually starting to control the Hill despite its minority.  They’re all scared to death of this new breed of politician in Washington Town. To me the Tea Party is dangerous.  They do not think, they do not compromise, and almost drove the country into the ground. They have no intent in working with any party, Democrat or Republican. They are, and plan to remain conservative to altamate extreme.

The more moderate Republicans are trying to get these folks to come around and learn the art of compromise, but to no avail what-so-ever.

Everyone has an economic plan, and Mitt Romney has introduced his.  It will take time to absorb this one though, its tedius reading that will take some hard study.

Getting back to President Obama, He is going to have to undergo major changes across the board in order to win this election.  First, as I have said before, he needs to fire the entire staff at the White House.  He needs real advisors who understand washington and Politics.  Then he needs to sit down, Shut up, and listen and finally heed the advise given to him. He must stop reacting and begin enacting.   He will have to take charge and start acting like the President. Stop looking for the sound bites, and instead go to the people and tell them the simple truth, what he envisions, and how we can get there.

There is a long way to go before the Convention.  But both Parties as well as the Tea Party has to come around and realize what it is they are fighting for.  They are fighting for the future of this country. Not Power, not a Limo, Air Force One, Marine One, or a White Mansion in Washington.  They should be going to the people of America.  Not the Financiers.

Our nation is at a cross roads.  Regardless of all the money raised, we the People have to make the Right choice.  A candidate can have all the money in China, but on Election Day that money should mean nothing at all. The choice then is ours, and the decision we make could impact this great nation for years to come.

Yes, some people like it hot, and if your particular brand happens to be politics, then I assure you 2012 is the year you have been waiting for.

That’s my point of view.  Have a Great Day…..and as usual

God Bless America!

About THE HORTON JOURNAL A POLITICAL PERSPECTIVE

I am 62 years old. I've been blogging for several years. I am into History and Politics as well as currant events. The latter being the main issues covered on these pages. I was a Community Advocate for twenty years, and a volunteer aide in a State Representatives Office in my home state of Michigan. While I have basically ceased these activities, I still watch the world around me closely and report on it as much as I can, which I might add is often. I encourage comments on my Blogs. I only ask that we keep our opinions clean and without insults threats or intimidation. I hope you take time to read The Horton Journal, and look forward to your comments.
