You would think that at least by now the Democrat Party would have its act together.  But that, unfortunately seems not the case.  I guess I have to say it again; “Every-time  I think they have it together, they say two more things to mess it all up”.

There are those who say this is the thing campaigns are made of. I say it is the things that ruin campaigns and cause a sitting president to lose a second term.  That very well might be the case all America is witnessing here today.  The Platform Committee, which usually means nothing as far as the president is concerned, because he/she does not follow that at all, in this case has become something.  However, not because the Republicans trumptd it up, which they did,  but because of what they platform said. or better yet did not say.

The committee in all it’s wisdom decided that they would not recognize Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel. Then the omitted the word God from one of the entries in the Platform.  Basically it said the Democrats believed in ‘People using their God Given Talents’, but the committee insisted on removing the word God.  That got the ball rolling. In no time it was all over the Internet that the United States did not support Israel and that we would not recognize Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel.  Also that we were bent on the idea of not recognizing God.

Of course Talk Radio had a field day with all this. But that was nothing compared to today’s events when the Convention decided to reinstate Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and return the phrase God Given Talents.  When the question was called one could actually hear the boo’s in the crowded arena where the convention is being held in North Carolina.

The next snafu was when The Presidents Advisers decided that it would be in the best interest of safety for all those who wanted to see the presidents acceptance speech in an open air stadium, that it was best to move it back into the convention arena because of the threat of rain.  I am given to understand now that there will not be any rain. Non is forecasted. Thousand will now miss the opportunity to see the President of the United States.  There are those who are saying that on this, the most important day of the convention that the campaign could not fill all the seats in stadium, and therefore opted out and return the event to the arena.  Again, yet another field day opportunity for the Romney gang!

Now, I have actually wondered if someone within the Obama Administration is not setting all this up, only to tear it down, and make the President look bad. Sometimes I wonder if someone is not advising the President with obvious bad advise and Policy positions, and then creating a controversy in an effort to sabotage his re-election?  I’ve said before he should fire the whole gang of advisors and get some real ones in there who have at least some perception of what they are talking about and doing.

That said,  it is all to obvious that this campaign is on the ropes.  It has been one thing after another, and any explanation given for a mess up is either unacceptable or just plain stupid.  You know, they might call me a novice in the arena of Advice, but I could do a sight darned better than these clowns are doing!

If I am right, I can assure you of this, the ones responsible know exactly what they are doing. Now the question is …. Why?

Consider this perception given out today on Talk radio. It might not be as far-fetched as we think.  It is all too obvious that Hillary Clinton is the golden candidate in 2016.  No doubt that she will seriously consider a run for the president. the historical impact is way too important, and she would have to win.  Consider if you will, that the perception is that if Obama wins a second term he might remain in the same stagnate situation that he is in now. The nation continues to falter, thus assuring Republican victory in 2016.  Hillary would of course not want to run for President under those circumstances, because defeat would be all  but a sure thing.  OK.  So, insiders decide to sabotage the Presidents re-election, through the tactics that we have been witnessing here, and as a result Obama looses a second term.

Hillary sits on the sidelines, and watches as the economy continues to falter, and then runs for President.  If Romney is so unpopular by then and has exposed a far-right agenda, she is a sure win in 2016.

In short, based on the current status of things, she is better off not having to depend on the coat-tails  of an outgoing President Obama who leaves office a dismal failure. But far better if Romney is seen as some radical far right ultra conservative in 2016.  The Democrats have a greater chance then, especially if they put Ms. Clinton up to the task.  The publicity and historical context of the first female President of The United States, might create just the movement sweep her into the White House in 2016.

I think that is an interesting concept to consider.

Then there is the latter………..The advisers in the Obama campaign are just plain stupid.  with a capital “S”.

We shall see.

Have a great day, and I hope to hear your opinion on these events.  Until then as usual

God Bless America!
