Everyone it seems is up in arms over the unfairness being dished out to Mr. Romney over the latest gaffe of his campaign. The latest justification by the Republicans trying to salvage the Romney campaign is that Mr. Romney made the remarks about the middle class and those still unemployed, food stamp recipients or on Medicaid or some other ‘Government handout’, were dependant on the so-called Entitlement, and he figures he would never garner their vote anyway.  apparently he made his point very clear who he was speaking for. He was speaking for the Upper Middle Class, lucky enough to have a job. The Rich and of course the Richest of the rich.  One thing for sure…..He is not representing the little guy at the bottom of the food chain, the guy who through no fault of his own lost all he had, and more, often causing the break up of his family, and leaving him or her with no choice but to ask for assistance in order to survive.

However, it is now all too obvious that as far as Mr. Romney is concerned anyone who is unemployed, and receiving unemployment benefits, Medicaid or Medicare, or food stamps, are nothing more than leaches on the back of society. They are lazy, no accounts, who lay on their back collecting the dole while the rest of us work and pay their way through higher taxes.

Well, I have an answer to that perception.  The fact of the matter is that some 90% of the people Mr. Romney describes as no account, had jobs.  They supported their families.  They had a nice car, a home, and took their kids to school.  They enjoyed vacations, and invested in mutual funds and 401(K’s), and prepared for retirement.  They had money to spend, as well as money in the bank.  And I assure you Mr. Romney, they worked for it. They worked very hard for it. Is that not what the Republicans expect, and promote.  Is it not true that Republicans expect people to get up, go to work, do the right things, buy into retirement programs, prepare for retirement.  See to their kids.  Encourage their kids to go to college so they too can be an asset to society.  Are these not the Conservative concepts of the very ideals of the Republican Party?

Yet, the very same people who did what these same Republicans demanded of them feel left out now. They are on their back. They have nothing left. 401(K’s) gone. Mutual funds, gone. Savings, gone. College fund, gone. Home, gone. car, gone. In many cases, too many, I might add, Wife, gone, Children are gone too. Nothing left, no hope, no future, no job, no prospects.  One prospect though, a mountain of debt, that they might never be able to pay!

Yet, the same Republicans that these people used to support now blame them for the woes of this nation.  Yet it was the Wall Street Fat Cats, Money Houses, Real estate firms, and other Rip Off schemes invented by Wall Street crooks, and the likes of Barney Frank and Chris Dodd in Congress who created programs that brought this nation to her knees.  Yet, the rich, and ultra rich spend their time blaming the very people who made them rich through their hard work, commitment, dedication and aching back.  Now they ask for help, support, and a better economy and all clowns like Romney can do is assure America that when he becomes President, so-called entitlement spending……”That’s Medicaid, Medicare, Food Stamps, Unemployment, Welfare, etc; is out the window. A done deal, and these no accounts can fend for themselves.  Even Obama Care, that these people depend on for affordable health care is a goner as well. Thank you Mr. Romney for tipping your hat and letting us all know what your plan for America is.

Once again Sir, you have succeeded in spilling the beans, uttering your hidden agenda. You have once again been exposed for what and who you really are.

Nothing more than a wolf in sheep’s clothing.  Just as we suspected all along, you have no idea how things are out here.  That’s because your in there!

That’s my point of view……..I look forward to hearing your insights of the day, and I hope you’ll stay with the Horton Journal – A Political Perspective, for continued Election coverage, and commentary.

Until then………..Have a great day and as usual……….God Bless America!
