NORTH KOREA RAMPS UP RHETORIC……SAYS THEY ARE ENTERING STATE OF WAR WITH SOUTH KOREA.

SPECIAL REPORT

ACCORDING TO CNN NEWS, NORTH KOREA SAYS THEY ARE CURRENTLY ENTERING A STATE OF WAR WITH SOUTH KOREA.

According to News Sources, including CNN News, Kim Jung-un, The N. Korean Dictator has signed an order to place North Korea on Alert and to prepare for an attack. The North Korean leader is angry with The United States gor flying a stealth bomber and a 52 over N. Korea as part of a military ‘Show of strength’ and capability to take action against N. Korea if they were to attack South Korea or any other military action perceived to be a threat to U.S. security interests in the region.

Reports indicate the Kim Jung-Un is threatening to attack not only South Korea, but might attack Guam as well as Hawaii.

In his statement the North Korean leader said “The time had come to settle accounts with the U.S.”.  He threatened to mercilessly strike the U.S. mainland , their strongholds, their military bases in the operational theaters in the Pacific.

However a Pentagon spokesman said today , “The U.S. is fully capable of defending itself as well as our allies against any North Korean threat”.  We are firmly committed to defending The Republic of Korea as well as Japan”. He said.

The spokesman went on to say that the United States and South Korea had signed a new contingency plan designed to counter future North Korean provocations.

The ongoing threats from N. Korea have included Pyongyang serving notice that they reserve the right to unprovoked pre-emptive nuclear strikes against the United States, a well as South Korea.

But most U.S.  observers believe that N. Korea is years away from having the technology  or capability to deliver a nuclear war-head.  However, it should be noted that they have plenty of military fire-power  including medium range ballistic missiles that can carry high explosives hundreds of miles.

Coupled with the latest escalation of rhetoric from the rogue N. Korean dictator that his country is entering a state of war with South Korea, the events of the last few weeks, in my opinion indicate that the possibility of an attack against South Korea is probable.  There are those who think that in the end the North Korean dictator will come to his senses and realize what he is up against, and as a result ratchet down his rhetorical hostilities.  However, looking back at the history of North Korea, and the way they play their cards, cause one to remember what we were thinking back in the 50’s. They wouldn’t dare attack the United States.  Turns out they had an unwanted Christmas gift for s instead.

I think that we should take the threats seriously. and warn the North Koreans that they should make no mistake in their calculation of U.S. response to any attack against to South Korea. That any such provocation will be seen as an act of war against the United States, and that our response will be swift and sure, and on their part most assuredly regretfull.

That’s my point of view..As usual, I look forward to your comments on this matter and other issues of the day.

Have a good night, and as usual ……. God Bless America and pray for peace.

About THE HORTON JOURNAL A POLITICAL PERSPECTIVE

I am 62 years old. I've been blogging for several years. I am into History and Politics as well as currant events. The latter being the main issues covered on these pages. I was a Community Advocate for twenty years, and a volunteer aide in a State Representatives Office in my home state of Michigan. While I have basically ceased these activities, I still watch the world around me closely and report on it as much as I can, which I might add is often. I encourage comments on my Blogs. I only ask that we keep our opinions clean and without insults threats or intimidation. I hope you take time to read The Horton Journal, and look forward to your comments.
