The Horton Journal – A Political Perspective continues working on our PC in an effort to return to publishing the Journal.  There is still some work to do before we can reinstate publication.  It seems the entire system had to be cleaned in order to speed up the computer so we could at least get an article up.  All this happened right after the passing of my Mother – In Law.  It seems the computer went slower, to slower, and then just yesterday it went to STOP!

I reviewed the entire system and started deleting programs that I never heard of, and junk I’ve never seen. One by one, bit by bit it seems that the system is picking up pace.  I am now at the test phase, and I might add that this entry is part of that test.  It’s simple. Compose this up date for our readers, and then publish it to see if it takes.

I am happy to say though, that the testing phase is quite improved. Yahoo is up and running. I am able to pull up News articles, and that is most important to any publication. I finally deleted my overwhelming  amount of email, and in general cleaned house, if you will.

Part of the day though, was devoted to some domestic projects. 1. Last night we had a flood, entirely my fault, you know. I left the water running while packing lunch for work. That resolved, Domestic project 2.  Christmas lights for outside.  That project is just about done as well. Now, it is on to project three, the one I do not look forward to. Cleaning up the house mess as a result of the flood, Entirely my fault you know.  So as you can see things are quite the mess here in the Horton Household.  I hope your situation is better than mine.

At any rate, thank you for your patience. I am doing everything I can to get this thing back in order and The Horton Journal back into publication.

Meanwhile dear reader….Keep up the Holiday joy, and spend time with those you love.

All my very best to you.

Have a great night.

As usual God Bless America!

I am 62 years old. I've been blogging for several years. I am into History and Politics as well as currant events. The latter being the main issues covered on these pages. I was a Community Advocate for twenty years, and a volunteer aide in a State Representatives Office in my home state of Michigan. While I have basically ceased these activities, I still watch the world around me closely and report on it as much as I can, which I might add is often. I encourage comments on my Blogs. I only ask that we keep our opinions clean and without insults threats or intimidation. I hope you take time to read The Horton Journal, and look forward to your comments.
